The congressman's affair became public last week when it was reported in a federal investigation because Jackson allegedly asked a political donor to pay for airline tickets for his mistress to visit Chicago.
Sandi Jackson said her husband came clean back then and the two attended marital and spiritual counseling.
She also said in the interview that Congressman Jackson had no intentions of running for mayor.
