Bulls training academy, WNBA star team up for clinic

September 30, 2010 The clinic will teach the latest techniques in shooting, ball handling, passing, footwork, and rebounding. The professional staff will feature Candace Parker as well as Chicago Bulls Training Academy instructors. It is open to girls 8 to 18 years of age. Participants will receive a t-shirt and have the opportunity to have one item autographed by Candace. The cost of this experience of a lifetime camp is only $125.00 per athlete.

(BIO) Candace Parker is a graduate of Naperville Central High School and currently a star forward for the Los Angeles Sparks of the WNBA. While in high school, Parker led her team to two state titles and amassed numerous national and local accolades. Parker is a two time NCAA National Champion with the University of Tennessee. In 2008, she was named women's basketball Academic All-American of the Year and became a member of the United States Olympic women's basketball team before starting her professional career in the WNBA. She became the first WNBA player to win both the Rookie of the Year and the Most Valuable Player in the same season.
