Governor Pat Quinn is getting some help from the White House in his campaign for reelection.

Starting Monday, new ads will be hitting the airwaves with President Obama saying he is voting for his friend, Pat Quinn.

With three weeks to go before the November election, Quinn will no doubt highlight the president's message during a statewide campaign tour that kicks off Monday.

Quinn is visiting Rock Island, Peoria, Decatur, Marion and Champaign.

On Tuesday, Vice President Joe Biden will host a fundraiser on Quinn's behalf.

Quinn's Republican opponent, State Senator Bill Brady continues his statewide tour Monday.

The Chicago Tribune endorsed Brady on Sunday, while the Chicago Sun-Times endorsed Quinn last week.
