Police say Miguel Gonzalez tried to strike two bicycle officers with his vehicle while driving Wednesday night. The incident prompted a chase on the Northwest Side.
Police opened fire two separate times while trying to catch Gonzalez. Three officers and Gonzalez were hurt, but no one was shot.
Gonzalez faces additional charges including aggravated assault to a peace officer and DUI.
