October 17, 2010 (CHICAGO) --Maggie Daley's doctor in Chicago says he thinks she will be out of the hospital in Washington by Tuesday at the latest. Dr. Steven Rosen told ABC7 Chicago he spoke with Mrs. Daley Sunday, and she's doing better. Chicago's first lady was taken to Georgetown University hospital Friday night due to leg pain.
Mrs. Daley was in Washington to receive an award.
Last March, a titanium rod was inserted into her leg to lessen her risk of fracture. Mrs. Daley was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in 2002.
