November 4, 2010 (HANNA, Ind.) --After finally pulling over, a man who led LaPorte County authorities on a high-speed chase asked officers for 'a break.'Jeffrey Bassett, 20, is charged with DUI, according to the Northwest Indiana Times. The newspaper reports a LaPorte County deputy clocked Bassett at 73 mph on Indiana 39 just after 2 a.m. Sunday. Bassett allegedly sped up instead of pulling over and led police on a 2-mile pursuit at 120 mph through Hanna, Ind.
