The Chicago Park District is raising several fees to help balance their budget.

Sending a child to a park district camp next year will go up an average of 1-percent. Boat owners can expect to pay about 3-percent more next year to dock in one of Chicago's harbors.

Officials said the fee increases will help avoid job cuts and hold the line on property taxes.
