The holiday season can't be far away, since it's time for the Walter Payton Family's annual toy drive.

Family members, volunteers and the Walter and Connie Payton Foundation www.Payton34.com staff will be collecting toy donations for in-need children on , Sunday November 14 before the Bears vs. Vikings game at Soldier Field.

They will be on hand from 9 am to 1 pm to collect new toys for children cared for by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). Everyone attending this game is encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy donation.

"Every contribution can make a difference in the life of a child, so we encourage all ticket holders to generously donate," Connie says

The Payton family continues to honor Walter's Legacy through events such as the Soldier Field Toy Drive, sponsored by the Walter and Connie Payton Foundation. According to their mission statement: "We are dedicated to the emotional healing of neglected, abused and underprivileged children by providing tools and opportunities to build self-esteem and encourage a better family unit giving hope for a brighter future,."
