Preckwinkle wants more help from Todd Stroger

November 12, 2010 2:14:17 PM PST
Incoming Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle says she would like more cooperation from Todd Stroger in the transition.

Preckwinkle says Stroger, the current county board president, is not cooperating, even though Preckwinkle will move into the post in less than one month.

The Chicago Tribune reports the two met Tuesday for the first time after what Preckwinkle described as months of "zero" cooperation. She called it a "very short" meeting.

County Commissioner John Daley plans to ask Stroger to detail the transition efforts at next Tuesday's board meeting.
