There is a big development in the push to revitalize the Chicago's Garfield Park community.

Mayor Richard Daley and other elected officials helped break ground Friday on a new CVS pharmacy at the corner of Madison and Racine.

That store is one of the first national retailers to locate in Garfield Park. It's expected to bring up to a dozen permanent jobs to the area.

The CVS will be largely constructed next year and is expected to open by the end of 2011.
