Friends and family paid respect to a suburban Marine who was killed in Afghanistan.

Visitation took place Friday in Arlington Heights for Lance Corporal James Bray Stack. He was killed in combat on November 10th.

Stack's father described the 20-year old as a hunter, a fisherman and a "real backwoods kid."

Stack is survived by his parents, sister, a wife and a 1-year-old daughter. His funeral will be held Friday at Prospect High School in Mount Prospect.
