Consumer Reports: Stores rated naughty or nice

Making the so-called 'naughty list' is Verizon Wireless. Consumer Reports says the company has doubled its early termination fee to $350.

Macy's is also on the list for reportedly charging shipping based on the dollar amounts of a purchase.

Additionally, Consumer Reports says CompUSA charges a restocking fee of up to 25 percent for products that do not meet its return criteria.

Zappos.com made the 'nice list' for its free shipping and returns. L.L. Bean also is being praised for allowing shoppers to return anything at anytime for any reason.

Consumer Reports says Southwest Airlines makes the nice list for allowing two pieces of checked luggage for free.
