2 residents, firefighter treated after Northwest Side fire

Chicago firefighters rescued two people from a burning building in the 4700-block of West Montana around 9 a.m. Sunday.

When crews arrived they found the back of the building was fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters searched the building and pulled two adults to safety. Both were in serious condition with from smoke inhalation.

A firefighter had to be treated after getting debris in his eye.

There's no word on a cause.
