Charles Diprima is charged with conspiracy to commit identity theft.
Diprima most recently worked at the Woodstock driver's license facility. But the incidents allegedly occurred when he was at the Libertyville facility.
A spokesman for the secretary of state's office says there is no indication that the information he gave to others has been used yet.
