Shannon apparently walked away from the crash in rural LaSalle County early Sunday morning.
Her husband, Dale Shannon was found dead behind the wheel.
An autopsy shows he died from a broken neck. The only trace of Shannon was a slipper and a few snowy footprints.
The search for her may not resume until next week because of bad weather.
