A rally against Walmart was held Thursday on Chicago's North Side.

It took place at a site that some people believe could be the future home of a Walmart store in the city.

The United Food and Commercial Workers Union and other groups took part in the rally. They say Walmart lowers workers' pay and destroys local businesses.

A company spokesman says its evaluating sites across the city, and the company is proud of its record of creating jobs and saving people money.
