'The Guest at Central Park West'

Northwestern University graduate, John Marshall Jones is back in town this weekend to premiere his new film "The Guest at Central Park West". In "The Guest at Central Park West", Jones plays the character "Terrance" who suffers from PTSD and has a long mysterious past with Professor Charles Watts, a recent Nobel-Prize winner and student of Dr. Martin Luther King . Homeless Terrance reunites with Professor Watts at a dinner party, and all things are forever changed. Producers say the film has a dramatic impact on its audience and it portrays "powerful political and social messages concerning the U.S. and its impact on the rest of the world."

The film, which was a stage play and recorded as a film, took home three prestigious African American Theatre Awards – Best Actor, Best Playwright and Dramatic Production of the Year, and is a 2011 People's Choice Award Favorite Film Nominee.

Jones Bio:
John Marshall Jones is a past apprentice in Chicago's "Second City Ensemble". Jones is best known for playing Floyd Henderson on the BET series "Smart Guy", along with starring in four television series, over 100 television episodes, and 20 A-List feature films. He currently stars in the Nickelodeon series, "The Troop".

"The Guest at Central Park West" debuted in Chicago at the ICE Theatre on 87th Street and State. It continues through February 10th. Tickets are $5.
