Chicago Winter Dance

February 4, 2011 (PRESS RELEASE)

Get out of the cold and come heat up with Chicago Winter Dance! It's that time of year again when Winter is still in full swing, but everyone is looking forward to the warmer months to come. Instead of laying around inside, come out to Millennium Park and learn a new style of dance! Professional dancers will be leading a one-hour lesson, with open dance time to follow.

Some dance styles that will be learned include the cha-cha, the Charleston, and the tango among many others.

Chicago Winter Dance will be held every Saturday in February, the 5th through the 27th. The dancing will take place in the Jay Pritzker Pavilion of Millennium Park, and admission is free. Live music and DJ sets will set the pace for the moves to follow. Doors open 30 minutes before the start of each session and space is limited.
