Driver killed in bus crash had no license

A car slammed into a school bus on the side of the Dan Ryan Expressway near 75th Street, closing the northbound lanes of I-94 just before rush hour.

A driver who caused a fatal crash on the Dan Ryan Expressway Wednesday did not have a valid driver's license because of her poor driving record.

A school bus was parked by the side of the road after it broke down Wednesday afternoon near 75th Street. Police say a car driven by 28-year-old Jacqueline Tovar slammed into it. Tovar was killed.

Two children in the car were critically injured. There were no children on the bus at the time of the crash.
