A South Side man is accused of punching a Chicago Fire Department captain after a car got stuck during the blizzard.

Twenty-one-year-old Darique Shelton is charged with aggravated battery and violating his probation.

Authorities say Shelton's car was blocking 71st Street and Lafayette Avenue. The fire captain couldn't get by while responding to an emergency.

According to police, Shelton argued with the captain, and then punched him twice in the face.
