Airlines scale back fare hikes

Some airlines are rolling back fare increases just days after they were first announced.

It was started Monday when Delta raised fares by as much as $120. American, United, U.S. Airways and Continental followed.

On Wednesday, U.S. Airways changed its mind. United and Continental rolled back their fare increases on Thursday. Delta and American also scaled back their increases.
