Service on the CTA Green Line is back to normal after freezing rain caused problems Monday morning.

Green Line trains between the 63rd/Ashland and Cottage Grove stations were suspended because of ice build up on the tracks.

For about two hours Green Line trains were not operating south of Roosevelt. Shuttle buses were used until service was restored around 7 a.m.

The Orange Line also experienced delays because of ice.
