The 30-hour event wrapped up early Sunday morning. It raised more than $1,019,000 million.
The bulk of that will go to the Children's Heart Foundation. The other beneficiary is the Evanston Community Foundation.
$316,000 of the total represents in-kind donations, such as food and other supplies donated to the Dance Marathon.
More than 900 students took part, which is also a record for the Dance Marathon.
