The high school junior never made it home after class on Wednesday. Over the weekend volunteers handed out fliers with her photo on them.
At about 2 p.m. Monday, Schaumburg police detectives found the 16-year-old girl at a hotel in the 7700-block of South Cicero Avenue in Chicago. She was found in the company of a 27-year-old male resident of Chicago, according to police. Police say there is no evidence of foul play and it appears she left home on her own initiative.
