Daley: City in 'good hands' with Emanuel

March 10, 2011 (CHICAGO)

Daley says he's convinced Emanuel, who takes office in May, will do good things for the city.

"I firmly believe that it's in good hands. Rahm Emanuel's going to come in honest, committed, passionate," Daley said at a breakfast for Misericordia Home, a non profit that offers care to those with developmental disabilities (misericordia.com).

In response to one question from the audience, the mayor said his biggest disappointment in all his years in office is that more hasn't been done about the number of guns in this country.
