A medical services company that provided medical exams for Chicago employees has pleaded guilty to defrauding the city.

U.S. Occupational Health was accused of improperly using the stamps of qualified medical specialists to show the results of medical test had been properly reviewed.

Between 1999 and 2005, the company examined more than 10,000 police and fire department applicants.

The city says it overpaid $600,000 because of the fraud.
