Obama will return to Brazil for Olympics

March 20, 2011 (RIO DE JANEIRO)

The Obamas got in some impromptu soccer practice while visiting with kids in the "City of God" Shantytown.

The president impressed some of the locals with his footwork.

He then delivered a speech where he couldn't resist joking that Rio de Janeiro wasn't exactly his first choice to host the 2016 Summer Olympics.

"If the games could not be held in Chicago, then there's no place I'd rather see them than right here is Rio and I intend to come back to watch what happens," Obama said.

The president is on a five-day Latin America trip. He heads to Chile and El Salvador next.
