Color of the Year : Honeysuckle

If you think you have been seeing a lot of pink lately, you're right. That's because a bright hot pink hue called ''Honeysuckle'' has been chosen as the 2011 color of the year by the Pantone Color Institute.

The Pantone Inc. is the company that sets color standards for the fashion and home industries. They say "Honeysuckle" is supposed to light a fire to your senses and rev you up. Last year's color was turquoise, which was supposed to be a calming hue for a more challenging economic time.

Chicago Social's Editor-in-Chief Korey Huyler has searched for fashion and home items in "Honeysuckle", and here is what she found:
