Police say they are investigating a criminal sexual abuse that occurred in the evening of March 17th in the 5000- block of West Irving Park.
Police say a man approached two 16-year-old girls from behind, grabbed one of the girls, put her in a bear hug and then fondled her. He then threw the victim to the ground and ran away.
Police are warning people -- especially children -- to walk with a companion and stay in well-lit areas. Also, police are asking parents to help children identify safe locations for them to go to if they feel they are in danger.
