Robert Redford in Chicago to debut new movie

He's been the Sundance Kid, the Natural, and the Great Gatsby.

A VIP soiree hosted by Michigan Avenue magazine took place at the River East Art Center Thursday night. Redford has a cover story in the new issue as he promotes his Lincoln drama, "The Conspirator.

Part of his visit includes throwing out the first pitch at the Cubs home opener Friday. He told ABC7's Janet Davies, he's up for the challenge.

In "The Natural," Redford's character hit a game winning home run that shatters the Wrigley Field scoreboard clock. The famous scene was actually filmed in Buffalo.
