Here's something that may have drinkers crying in their favorite brew.

A Spanish study found that those who consume three beers a day for years may be at increased risk of gastric cancer.

Researchers also say if you have a certain gene variation that risk goes up a shocking 700 percent.

For those with the gene who don't drink beer, the increased gastric risk is about 30 percent.

The study does note that the findings don't necessarily mean beer causes cancer, only that there is a correlation.

Other factors could also be responsible.
