Cops seize $27M of pot in Franklin Park

April 10, 2011 (FRANKLIN PARK, Ill.)

The drugs were found in a truck, and are worth an estimated $27 million dollars.

They were found Friday morning by the Will County Cooperative Police Assistance Team, which includes members of the FBI, Illinois State Police and suburban police departments.

Authorities also recovered a handgun and ammunition.

No arrests have been made in the case yet.
