One man was killed and another was injured in a shooting at a gas station at 76th and State streets. Officials have not identified the victims but said the fatality is an older man, whose body is slumped over next to a car with shot-out windows. The other man was hit in the leg.
A witness who did not want to be identified said as many as 20 shots were fired. No one is in custody, police said.
In another shooting, the victim was shot in the head at 76 th and Kingston.
Police do not know if the two shootings are related.
