The honorees are actress, author and civil rights activist Dr. Maya Angelou; singer and actress Keke Palmer; business leader Dee Robinson Reid; and host of ABC's "The View," Sherri Shepherd.

The Common Ground Foundation was founded in 2000 to develop the youth in underserved communities to be contributing citizens and strong leaders. "Common" created the foundation as a way to give back to the community where he was raised.
