April 20, 2011 (ISLAND LAKE, Ill.)

The Daily Herald reports Wednesday that one coin flip send Charles Cermak to a place on the Island Lake village board. Cermak was tied with Allen Murvine. The term is for four years.

Another coin flip determined that Patricia Thomas would have a seat on the Green Oaks village board. She was tied with Richard Glagovsky after the April 5 election.
