It happened in a house the men occupied which was right across the street from a public school.
One of the victims was identified as 50-year-old Frank Brassel who had two children and coached in a local football league. The other victim was Echford Cooper.
Police have said nothing about a motive but they believe the shooter was known to the victims.
Residents describe Brassel as a great neighbor.
"It's shocking, especially happening so close to home and who it happened to, he was a great guy as far as I know," said Levi Redd, neighbor.
The investigation continues. No one is in custody.
