Study: No link between coffee, high blood pressure risk

April 22, 2011 (CHICAGO)

Some studies have suggested that coffee may increase the risks, but this new report finds the chance of being diagnosed with high blood pressure was no different between people who said they chugged more than five cups of coffee per day and those who drank very little.

Still authors of the study say the report in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition is not saying there is no risk to drinking a lot of coffee. Experts say there could be other adverse effects.
