A female student was walking in the 300-block of East Chicago Avenue at around 8:40 Sunday night. She was waiting to cross the street on the north sidewalk by the Lake Shore Park Fieldhouse when she was approached.
A teenager pushed the student backwards and demanded her money and cell phone. A second teen turned around and stood in front of her.
Both men ran away when a pair of joggers approached them.
The student wasn't hurt.
