Judge Zagel said Thursday he would give lawyers a chance to think about the potential jurors over the weekend. Earlier in the week the judge had said he hoped to start opening argments on Monday. However, instead, jury selection will continue next week with preemptory challenges.
Court does not meet on Friday. Only a few more people are needed to complete the pool before the final 12 jurors and six alternates are selected.
Blagojevich and his wife, Patti, are both in court Thursday.
