The lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court by Brooks names the city, the mayor and Daley's Chief of staff Raymond Orozco. Brooks says he was forced to resign over allegations of sexual harassment, of which he was later cleared.
The lawsuit alleges Orozco told Brooks the mayor wanted him out because of the allegations against him, and if he didn't resign, he would be fired. Brooks retired in May of 2010.
There's no comment yet from the city.
