Spider Maki Roll

Recipes from Shaw's Crab House in downtown Chicago.
    Ingredients:
  • 1/2 sheet nori
  • 3 1/2 oz sushi rice
  • 0.7 oz masago
  • 1/2 oz cucumber
  • 0.1 oz frisee lettuce
  • 1 jumbo tempura soft shell crab

    Sauteed Soft Shell Crab:
  • 2 cleaned soft shell crabs
  • 1/2 oz Wondra flour
  • 1 fl oz oil
  • 1/4 cup Shaw's signature rice
  • 1 fl oz Lemon Butter

Dust the soft shells with wondra flour and saute in hot oiled sauté pan for approximately 2 minutes on each side. The soft shells should turn golden brown. Serve with Shaw's rice and drizzle the crab with lemon butter.
