Tom Hanks, Alicia Keys, Jerry Seinfeld Lisa ling, Kelsey Grammer. Oprah looked gorgeous in orange. The music was awesome and people were just on cloud nine."

What's the difference between a mixologist and a bartender? "I often compare being a mixologist to being a pediatrician. You are still a bartender but there is a higher degree of difficulty and lots of specialized training. You are an expert on spirit production, history, classic cocktails, flavor combination," House said.

Her advice to people at home? House says to "keep it simple" and keep simple syrup and fresh citrus on hands.

House is a member of the United States Bartender's Guild. Before taking over the bar at Blackbird, she worked at Graham Elliot and the Drawing Room. She's received several national awards for her cocktail making skills, and was, among others, a 2011 Top Ten Finalist for Tales of the Cocktail competition.
