The two are seen in the lobby of a hotel in Wisconsin shortly before Timmothy Pitzen disappeared.
The boy and his mother, Amy-Fry-Pitzen, can be seen waiting to check out of the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells May 13. Later that night, Fry-Pitzen checked into a Rockford hotel where she committed suicide. She left a note saying Timmothy was safe and being cared for by friends who she did not name. He has not been heard from since.
