The troupe performed at the Spotlight Ball Thursday night. Tharp has collaborated with Hubbard Dance Chicago many times. ABC7's Ron Magers was part of the program.
Tharp was awarded an honor by Hubbard founder Lou Conte, thanking her for so many artistic contributions.
Tharp says she's debuting a new work for the fall engagement. She says the vitality of the company challenges her to create a piece to showcase the Hubbard talent and vision.
