Chicago police are cracking down on bicyclists who disobey traffic signals in and around the Loop.

Police issued dozens of warnings and at least one ticket Tuesday to cyclists who failed to stop at red lights.

They're calling the crackdown a combination "enforcement and education" operation.

Tuesday, police focused on the intersection at Milwaukee, Kinzie, and Des Plaines, a popular corridor for bicycle commuters.
