A Barrington man convicted of killing two British businessmen in a hit-and-run crash in Florida has agreed to surrender to Illinois authorities Monday.

Ryan LeVin is accused of violating his parole here in an incident in which he ran over a Chicago police officer.

An Illinois Department of Corrections spokeswoman says the 36-year-old will turn himself in at the Stateville Correctional Center in Joliet. He'll stay there until his parole board hearing this summer.

By agreeing to plead guilty in the Florida, LeVin was able to avoid jail time there.
