Two men from Chicago Heights drowned while out fishing at a lake in the far southwest suburbs.

The men headed out into the Monee Reservoir Sunday night at about 6:50 p.m. in a fishing boat, even though boats are due back in at 7 p.m.

The Will County coroner's office says 74-year-old Booker Kennedy apparently fell into the water and drowned.

The body of 51-year-old Curtis Scott was recovered Monday afternoon.

Will County police are investigating.
