WCL: Why Candace Jordan chooses Chicago

Candace Jordan (AP)

Socialite Candace Jordan talks with Val Warner about growing up in the small town of Dupo, Ill., becoming a Playboy Playmate, and ultimately why she decided to call Chicago home.

She has been turning heads since December 1979, when she was named Playboy's December Playmate. After turning down offers to live and work in LA, the former model, actress and fashion editor chose to stay in Chicago, where she writes her blog, Candid Candace for ChicagoNow.com, chicagonow.com/candid-candace. Now the socialite spends much of her time at swank parties and events that benefit causes and charities across the city.
