Jamie Holbrook was leaving a parking garage in the Gold Coast Tuesday night when she found the duck and ducklings on the 5th floor.
After quite an effort, she got them to nearby Lake Shore Park along N. Lake Shore Drive.
However, they apparently did not like the surroundings, because they waddled over to busy Lake Shore Drive and nearly got hit.
Then, one got trapped in the sewer.
Chicago police, firefighters, and Streets and Sanitation were all involved in the rescue.
