Arrests at Taste down 50 percent from 2010

This was the first Taste hosted by the park district, and it included four musical festivals that were folded into the Taste lineup.

Arrests at this year's event dropped 50 percent from last year, and there were no incidents involving illegal weapons.

No official attendance figures have been given yet, but some figures on the food consumed were out Tuesday.

The most popular fare: turkey drumsticks from Manny's Deli. There were 120,000 turkey legs sold. Timothy O'Toole's chicken wings were also popular with 57,600 consumed, and Eli's dished up 50,000 slices of cheesecake.
